The Hollow Guide: Daily Puzzle Floors and Rewards
A practical walkthrough of the Roblox The Hollow event: daily relic puzzles, the Doors Candy Vault, Dandy's World pumpkins, tickets, and claiming rewards.

Table of Contents
The Hollow is a limited-time Roblox horror event built as its own experience, and playing it well comes down to one repeating loop: ride the elevator to a floor, solve that floor's relic puzzle without getting caught, and exit again to collect the day's badge and avatar item. Each night of the event adds a new floor and a new monster drawn from a different Roblox horror game, and the floors stay in the theater, so a missed night can be finished later.
The official Roblox experience page says the doors open October 22 at 2pm PT with the event starting at 3pm PT; IGN's event guide dates the run October 23 to October 31, with a live finale on October 31 and rewards claimable until November 2. GamesRadar's event overview describes the same short maze format: "The challenges are short, but you'll have to start again if you're caught."
What a night in The Hollow looks like
You start in the theater lobby and take the elevator down to the floor for the night you want. On each floor you look for a puzzle or relic room, gather what the puzzle needs, complete it, and then return to the elevator and leave. Leaving with the relic is what triggers the reward.
The risk is the floor's monster. IGN notes that on the first floor an entity patrols the halls and sends you back to the start if it catches you, which matches GamesRadar's description of the maze resetting after a catch. GamesRadar also notes that each day's maze corers are taken from a recognisable Roblox horror game, and lists the day-by-day stalkers: Day 1 Seek (DOORS), Day 2 Twisted Dandy (Dandy's World), then Biter, The Deer, Hiachi, Mimic, The Inspector, The Overseer and finally Piggy on Day 9.
| Activity | Where it starts | What you walk away with |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 theater maze | Elevator, first floor | Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin |
| Doors Candy Vault | The DOORS door in the hub | Badge, claimed at the postal sign outside the door |
| Day 2 hotel floor | Hotel, second floor | Witch's Brew-nado |
| Dandy's World run | Portal at the center of The Hollow | Badge, claimed at the same portal |
Day 1: five maze pieces and the Relic Room
The first floor is a movie-theater maze. You need five missing puzzle pieces scattered through the floor, then you bring them to the Relic Room. IGN's route from the starting elevator is to head forward, pass through two rooms and take a right; you are in the right place when no left turn is available, and the room is marked by a glowing purple wall on the far left and a doorway with a protective field.
Piece locations are not fixed — IGN cautions that the first floor changes, and only gives two examples: following the left path from the elevator to the second room, and the room immediately before the Relic Room. Treat the rest as exploration rather than a fixed list.
Once all five pieces are in place, the puzzle becomes a rearrangement task: you shift the pieces until the starting point connects to the end and both light up. Completing it unlocks the door, and leaving via the elevator grants the Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin.
Day 2: the six-pumpkin pillar puzzle
Day 2 moves to the hotel and its second floor. IGN reports that the puzzle room's position varies per player and per run, though it has tended to sit on the right side of the map; you are close when you find a room that looks like a playhouse. From there, go up the stairs from the far-right room and into the back, where a pillar room has a lever on one side.
The riddle reads: "Pumpkin moon and midnight hour, six stone pumpkins in witch's power. Turn a stone, its neighbors turn; waste your turn and back they churn. Turn each pumpkin to face its mark, lest you rot here in the dark."
The goal is to turn every pillar so the pumpkin faces point inward toward each other. Turning one pillar also rotates its neighbours, so order matters and the solve is gradual. When all six are correct, their bases glow toward the centre and the lever unlocks the relic. Exit by elevator to collect the Witch's Brew-nado.
Side activities that also give badges
Doors Candy Vault. A group activity for you and up to four other players. The first phase is free exploration of the mansion, where you open drawers to find candy or keys; IGN warns that you cannot tell what a candy does and that eating it can have harmful effects. The vault itself opens through three quick-time events, after which a cutscene plays and you have 20 minutes to reach the bottom floor and escape.
Inside, a map found along the way helps with navigation and shows the cauldrons. Candy is the score, but risky sweets can be thrown into the glowing cauldrons instead — they still count without you eating them. Abe, your host, follows the group and will grab someone if nobody watches him, so one player is usually assigned to keep him in view and scare him off. Skeleton keys open extra locked doors for bonus rewards. After escaping, return to The Hollow and interact with the postal sign outside the door you teleported from to claim the badge.
Dandy's World. Reach it through the portal at the centre of The Hollow and head to the event section of the lobby. You need 200 pumpkins, collected while completing Machines (interact, then hit the quick-time event in the white or gold section — missing alerts the monsters) and reaching the elevator before the timer ends. Hearts are lost to monsters, and losing them all drops you into a new match. Pumpkins are kept even in a failed match, while a finished match pays 50, so IGN's estimate is roughly three to four games for the full 200. Claim at the Dandy's World portal afterwards.
Tickets: buying the rewards without the maze
If the maze is not your thing, the rewards can be bought with Tickets earned in other participating experiences. GamesRadar reports that each completed quest in a participating game pays 20 Tickets plus an exclusive badge, and lists games including Grow a Garden, Fisch, Creatures of Sonaria, Royale High, Welcome to Bloxburg, Tower Defense Simulator, Sleep Paralysis, Murder Duels and Duck Duck. Quests you already finished are not wasted: teleport into that game from The Hollow, come back, and the tickets can be claimed. GamesRadar also notes Roblox Plus bonus items — Quack-o'-lantern alongside Trick or Treat Tentacles and The Spectral Skull of Nevermoor, the latter two tied to days 3 and 6.
The experience page itself lists 13 badges, including several beyond the nine daily ones, such as Haunted Harvest Crown and Fuwatty Side Satchel.
When a run goes wrong
- Caught by the floor monster: you are returned to the start of the floor, so a clean run means learning the patrol before committing to the puzzle room.
- Cannot find the puzzle room: the layout changes between players and runs; the reliable cues are the room type (playhouse on Day 2, purple wall and field door on Day 1) and the fact that the room tends to sit on the right side of the Day 2 map.
- Reward did not appear after finishing: both side activities require a return trip plus a claim interaction — the postal sign for the Candy Vault and the portal for Dandy's World. If a claim point does not respond, leaving and rejoining the experience and trying the same claim point again is a reasonable generic Roblox fallback, though it is not a documented fix for this event.
Badges and layouts here reflect the event as reported around 2026-10-24 and could shift as later nights are added.
Same name, different game
Searching "The Hollow walkthrough" also surfaces the seventh chapter of Split Fiction, covered by the Fextralife Split Fiction wiki — a six-level chapter with no sidestories, opening with An Ominous Welcome and using Mio's Illuminate and Zoe's Grab Gold abilities. That is an unrelated co-op game chapter and none of it applies to the Roblox event.
FAQ
What is The Hollow guide actually for?
It is a walkthrough for the Roblox Halloween event: a nightly maze floor with one relic puzzle, one stalking monster, and one badge reward, plus the Doors Candy Vault and Dandy's World side activities.
Do I have to play The Hollow every single night to get the rewards?
No. Each day's floor remains in the theater, and IGN states rewards can be claimed until November 2, so missed nights can be completed in a later session.
Where do I claim the badge after the Doors Candy Vault?
Return to The Hollow and interact with the postal sign outside the door you used to teleport into the vault.
How many Dandy's World matches does 200 pumpkins take?
IGN's estimate is about three to four matches, based on 50 pumpkins for a completed match plus whatever you collect during failed runs. Treat that as a player estimate rather than a fixed number.
